The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) signed on Monday a memorandum of understanding with Al-Awadi Emirati Investments Company to enhance industrial integration and partnership in various fields.
The MoU covers includes a solar cell production plant and a factory to produce energy-saving lighting units, charging stations for electric cars, an electric car factory, a transformer production plant, hydrogen and ammonia production, and the building of solar power stations
AOI chief Mukhtar Abdel Latif said co-operation includes the promotion of these products in Arab and African countries.
Abdel Latif spoke of sthe implementation of the directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to strengthen partnerships and cooperation with other Arab countries, and to open new areas for investment and localisation of technology through the production and marketing of joint Arab products, according to the latest international quality standards.
Abdul Latif stated that AOI is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with the Arab countries in all fields of industry/
For his part, Shoaib Aziz Al-Awadi, CEO of Al-Awadi Emirati Investments Company, hailed co-operation with the AOI, which has a pioneering role in Arab industry since its establishment.
