Bassam Rady, the Egyptian Ambassador to Italy, received at the embassy headquarters in Rome the Egyptian, Mark Girgis, from the Minya Governorate, who has deservedly excelled in the field of “mechatronics” sciences, by obtaining, over the course of five consecutive years, a record average of 100 per cent for the duration of his studies on the scholarship provided to him by Misr Al-Khair Foundation.
Girgis is the only student in Italy to be the first in this modern scientific field, which is considered the future of all industries, especially electronics, smart systems, energy engineering and software.
Mark Girgis also designed the logistics station for the Italy Train railway facility for containers and goods, mechanised it and digitised it completely.
Ambassador Rady stated that Girgis is a model of the brilliant Egyptian youth who represent the treasure of the nation, considering that sons of Egypt are Egypt’s true wealth and the inexhaustible “treasures of the earth” and the locomotive of the future, adding that Egypt has treasures of human talent and genius, and the matter depends on discovering them and honeing their talents.
