CAIRO – Member of the House of Representatives Education and Scientific Research Committee Ashraf Amin voiced appreciation of Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa’s role, along with all Awqaf staffers in putting into effect all forged schemes meant to teach true principles of Islam to Muslim families and children.
In a statement issued Sunday, the MP highlighted the importance of all-unprecedented unique religious schemes laid down to turn mosques across the various Egyptian governorates into educational and learning centers and cultural minarets.
Amin said he did not expect the high turnout of Egyptian families at mosques, with a view to benefiting from Quran schools advocating basic Islamic teachings and Islam’s principles of tolerance.
He lauded preachers and imams’ efforts and the professional role they play with regard to the renewal of religious discourse.
