Awqaf min.: Welcoming guests, tourists part of Islam’s tolerant teachings

The Egyptian Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said that welcoming and treating guests and tourists well are considered among the basic values in Islam and its tolerant teachings.

In statements on Tuesday, Gomaa said that one should be generous with his guest in the general sense of the word.

There is no doubt that the tourist is considered to be a guest or even more, he affirmed, pointing out to the importance of welcoming the tourists without attempting to violating their privacy.
