Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar underscored his ministry’s keenness on tapping new vistas of cooperation with Poland.
He underlined during talks with Polish Ambassador in Cairo Michał Łabenda the need of sharing experiences between Egypt and Poland in the civil aviation sector and offering all facilitations and support for Polish companies at Egyptian airports in a move meant to foster the air navigation movement and enhance the flow of tourists.
The two sides tackled means to promote joint cooperation in air transport, particularly after the resumption of flights by LOT Polish Airlines to Cairo last week following a nine-year hiatus.
For his part, Łabenda commended efforts made by the Ministry of Civil Aviation to strengthen bilateral ties in this regard, saying Egypt is a most important tourist destination to the Polish people.
