Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar on Tuesday discussed with Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Egypt Sadiq Silla ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement by the ministry.
They also reviewed mechanisms for exchanging Egyptian experiences with Sierra Leone in the different domains, with special focus on the civil aviation industry, said the statement.
The talks come as part of efforts exerted to promote bilateral ties, it added.
Manar asserted the meeting shows the political leadership’s utmost interest in fostering joint relations with African countries and the pivotal role Egypt is playing in achieving goals of development for brothers in the African continent.
For his part, Silla said he is upbeat with this fruitful meeting, which aims at achieving more cooperation between both countries.
