Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El Hefni discussed on Wednesday with Kazakh Ambassador in Cairo Askar Zhengis means to increase the number of direct flights between the two countries to support tourism movement.
In statements, the minister said increasing the flight number would have positive developments on incoming tourism and air cargo movement between Cairo and Almaty.
He described the step as strategic to support trade exchange between Egypt and world countries particularly Central Asian states and increase the volume of exports to Kazakhstan and other countries in the region.
For his part, the Kazakh diplomat expressed happiness at meeting the aviation minister and hailed the two countries relations.
He added the decision to increase the direct flights would support Egyptian air cargo to Kazakhstan and other Asian countries.
