Egyptian Petroleum Minister Tareq el-Molla has launched the first phase of a project for automatic follow-up and control room for oil refining system at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation headquarters.
The minister said on Thursday that such a step is part of the Petroleum Ministry’s programs for expanding in digitisation projects in all companies of the sector.
The room will be the core of digital transition in the field of oil refining, El Molla said, adding that the ministry continues working on carrying out all digital transformation projects in all petroleum sectors under the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030.
