As part of the efforts of the Armed Forces to secure the country’s borders on all strategic fronts, the border guard forces, in coordination with the main branches of the Armed Forces and the tactical formations, managed to direct successful strikes against criminal elements and smugglers and foiled plans aimed at harming the national security during the period from September 1 to October 18, 2024.

The efforts of the border guards resulted in the seizure of quantities of cannabis, hydro, cocaine, bango, opium, estrox, and narcotic pills, in addition to the seizure of 27 acres of narcotic crops.

The border guards also succeeded in seizing numerous firearms and rounds of various calibers, foiling several attempts of random excavation, smuggling, infiltration, and illegal immigration of persons of various nationalities.

The border guard forces continue their intensive efforts day and night to tighten control at the state’s ports and border crossings and to take legal action against criminal elements.
