Cairo – The Armed Forces organised the third International Agouza Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Centre Conference.
The event was attended by a galaxy of professors and experts specialised in rheumatology, physical medicine, and rehabilitation from the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Health, Egyptian universities, as well as military attachés accredited in Cairo and several foreign experts.
Brigadier General Dr. Hani Nagy Ahmed, Director of the Armed Forces’ Agouza Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Center, delivered a speech in which he highlighted the center’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest treatment methods, incorporating the latest achievements in artificial intelligence, and utilizing them to provide therapeutic services for patients.
He asserted that the conference offers an opportunity for exchanging expertise in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation to offer outstanding medical services to the Egyptian people in this domain.
Meanwhile, Major General Dr Mohamed Saad Hegazy, Director of the Medical Services Department of the Armed Forces, highlighted the Armed Forces’ commitment to keeping up with continuous developments in various medical domains, as well as preparing qualified personnel capable of coping with advancements in the fields of medicine and medical engineering.
The opening session of the conference concluded with honoring several wounded soldiers and civilians who received treatment at the center.
The conference featured an exhibition of prosthetic devices, numerous scientific sessions, lectures, as well as training workshops held at the Agouza center with the participation of several military and civilian doctors, along with foreign experts.
