The Armed Forces have organised its annual celebration to mark the 10th of Ramadan victory, 1447 AH, in the presence of top military brass, as well as senior scholars from Awqaf Ministry and Al-Azhar.
The celebration began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Sheikh Khaled El-Garhy.
Dr El-Shahat El-Sayed El-Azzazi, a senior scholar of Al-Azhar, delivered a speech highlighting the religious and national values embodied in the anniversary, describing it as an occasion carrying the breezes of victory in reclaiming the sacred land of Sinai following a military miracle achieved by the personnel of the Armed Forces through their deep and steadfast faith in God’s support and victory.
Major General Ehab Mohamed El-Fayoumi, Assistant Minister of Defense, also delivered a speech on behalf of Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense.
El-Fayoumi said the brave servicemen had written a memorable chapter on the 10th of Ramadan victory that would remain an inspiring anniversary and a source of pride for Egyptians.
He added the Armed Forces remain determined to carry forward the legacy of the generation of victory through dedication, sacrifice and unwavering readiness, maintaining the highest levels of efficiency and preparedness to safeguard the nation and preserve the integrity of its territory.
The celebration concluded with a further recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an.
