As part of the Armed Forces’ keenness to advance the nation’s medical system and participate in activating the initiatives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to enhance public health for citizens in various medical specialties within Egypt, Major General Dr Mohamed Saad Hegazy, Director of the Armed Forces Medical Services Department, signed a co-operation protocol with Professor Dr. Mohamed Hassani, Assistant Minister of Health and Population.
The protocol aims to have the Medical Services Department, the Armed Forces Laboratories for Medical Research, and the Blood Bank join the work system of the President’s initiative for early detection and treatment of cancerous tumors.
This comes as confirmation of the fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Health and Population to keep pace with the latest international medical standards, which contributes to serving the health system in Egypt.
A number of Armed Forces commanders and officials from the Ministry of Health and Population attended the signing ceremony.
