The Armed Forces conducted on Tuesday a formal leadership handover ceremony, a longstanding military tradition that reflects dedication to duty and responsibility within the military operational system.
During event, held on Tuesday, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defence and Military Production,Field Marshal Ashraf Salim Zaher, met General Abdel Mageed Saqr, former minister of defence.
Senior commanders of the Armed Forces main branched, attended the ceremony together with several other commanders.
The ceremony featured discussions on various topics related to the Armed Forces’ missions across all strategic fronts, as well as the overall framework of military operations for the coming period.
Minister Zaher voiced appreciation of General Saqr for his efforts and dedication during his national service, contributing to the advancement of the nation and the protection of its sacred interests.
In turn, Saqr wished Minister Zaher success in carrying out his future duties.
