CAIRO – The department of information systems of the Armed Forces inked a co-operation protocol with the Ministry of Health in the field of artificial intelligence applications.
Head of the department Tawfiq Mokhtar Tawfiq and Assistant Health Minister for Information Systems and Digital Transition Ashraf Abdel Aleem inked the protocol in presence of Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.
The protocol aims at exchanging expertise in the field of artificial intelligence and benefiting from data and x-rays available in the hospitals of the Ministry of Health in addition to benefiting from all the practical and technical potentials of cadres in the different fields of information technology and digital transformation.
The protocol comes within the framework of keenness of the Armed Forces on serving the community and supporting development efforts in the different sectors in co-operation with the ministries and governmental bodies concerned.
