CAIRO – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Gen. Mohamed Zaki sent a cable to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, greeting him on the 71st anniversary of July 23 Revolution.

In the cable, Zaki said the July 23 Revolution is one of the greatest episodes of the national struggle for the Egyptian people to gain their freedom and independence.

The defense minister affirmed the Armed Forces’ commitment to preserving the country’s security and stability, in addition to achieving its strategic interests, at a time when the political leadership seeks to build a strong modern state.
