Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Meguid Saqr Thursday sent a cable to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of Al-Israa and Al-Miraj (the Prophet’s Night journey and Night ascension).
In the cable, Saqr said “It is an honor for me to extend to you my warmest congratulations, along with my best wishes for health and well-being, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of Al-Israa and Al-Miraj. I pray to Allah to repeat this occasion for you, for our beloved country, and for its great people, with all goodness and blessings.”
“I also extend to you the congratulations of the Armed Forces personnel on this blessed occasion who are stressing their loyalty to the duties and responsibilities they bear, with sincerity, honesty and dedication.”
As well, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Ahmed Khalifa sent a similar congratulatory cable to the president on this occasion.
Saqr and Khalifa also congratulated the grand imam of Al Azhar, the grand mufti and the minister of Awqaf on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of Al-Israa and Al-Miraj.
