CAIRO – Egyptian Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki sent on Saturday a cable of greetings to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Easter.
He hailed the pope’s patriotic stands, wishing that Egypt would always enjoy unity.
Also, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Osama Askar sent a similar cable to the pope.
Zaki and Askar gave directives to offer greetings to military personnel on the occasion.
