Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. General Ahmed Khalifa has returned home along with his accompanying delegation following the conclusion of his official visit to Rwanda.
During his visit to the East African nation, Khalifa met with Chief of Defense Staff of the Rwandan Defense Forces Mubarakh Muganga.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen military cooperation as well as a number of topics of mutual interest.
The two chiefs of staff chaired the closing session of the third meeting of the Egyptian-Rwandan military cooperation committee.
They praised the efforts made by members of the joint military committee from both countries and the outcomes achieved in various military fields, which contribute to the exchange of expertise and supporting security and stability across Africa.
