The Conference of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions and its 20th General Assembly kicked off here on Saturday in cooperation with the National Council for Human Rights.
Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhi participated in the conference.
Egypt will be handed over the presidency of the Network’s General Assembly.
The two-day conference is an important opportunity for probing the best practices, lessons and the most important challenges facing the National Human Rights Institutions to determine priorities and needs.
The event is also aiming to boost the role of the networks and international and regional organizations in promoting National Human Rights Institutions.
