DOHA – Heads of state of Arab and Muslim countries are due to meet Monday in Qatar’s capital Doha for an emergency Arab-Islamic summit to discuss the latest regional developments.
The summit will tackle ways of strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity and advancing joint cooperation to broader horizons, amid the current challenges.
During the sessions, the leaders will deliver speeches addressing ongoing regional developments and strategies to reinforce unity among Arab and Muslim nations.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, during a phone call with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, affirmed Egypt’s strong condemnation and denunciation of Israel’s aggressive act against the State of Qatar.
He emphasized Egypt’s total rejection of violating Qatar’s sovereignty.
