The Armed Forces announced in a press conference on Monday the Arab Military Equestrian Championship organised by the Armed Forces under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The Championship will be on 24-27 April at the Equestrian Club in the Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital with the participation of Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia and UAE.
Major General Ihab Lotfy Nadi, Director of the Armour Officers Club, expressed the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to provide all aspects of support to ensure the success of the tournament.
Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Armed Forces in organising the tournament, pointing out that the Egyptian state’s modern infrastructure and advanced sports facilities is capable of hosting major sports competitions at different levels.
During the conference, a film was screened including the details of the preparation for the tournament activities in accordance with international standards and organisational procedures for such competitions.
