A group of Arab bloggers and influencers paid a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation in southern Cairo on Friday as part of a nationwide tour.
The tour, which will include a number of Egyptian cities, including Alexandria and the Red Sea resorts, is intended to bring Egypt’s tourist attractions to the minds of some of the region’s most influential cyberspace activists and bloggers.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation was one of several places visited by the group.
The members of the delegation enjoyed the unique artifacts exhibited in the museum, especially the royal mummies.
Some of the members of the delegation said they followed the transfer of the mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization on TV in April this year and were eager to take a closer look at the mummies.
The group visited the central exhibition halls of the museum along with the Hall of Mummies.
