An exhibition celebrating the life of the founder of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development’s (ACCD) will be open to the public in Cairo on Saturday.
ACCD President Prince Abdulaziz Al Saud will open the exhibition, which celebrates the life and achievements of the council’s founder Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on 10 March in the presence of senior government officials, diplomats and public figures, ACCD Secretary General Dr. Hassan el-Bilawi announced.
The event, entitled ‘Talal a history read by generations’, charts the career Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz that spans six decades in development. until his death in 2018.
ACCD in 1987 at the initiative of late Talal as the first Arab institution concerned with Arab children.
The Ministry of Education and the National Centre for Children’s Culture will be holding seminars and workshops during the exhibition, the fourth since 2020 in Riyadh.
