Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Adel el Assoumi lauded the pioneering role of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his strenuous efforts to support joint Arab parliamentary work and activate the role of Arab parliamentary diplomacy.
In his speech on Wednesday addressing the 3rd session of the AP, Assoumi said that Sisi received the AP speaker and heads of Arab parliaments after the 4th conference of the Heads of Arab Councils and Parliaments, adding that the meeting was an inspiring example for shouldering the Arab national responsibility.
Assoumi said that the AP organised the conference on Saturday under the rubric “the role of parliamentarians in achieving security and stability in Arab world.
Assoumi said that this exceptional conference had constructive results, adding that the AP will remain an effective partner to serve the interests of the Arab world.
