Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Monem al-Tarass highlighted Saturday the importance of co-operation with other states in Africa, in the light of directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for opening up new channels of co-operation and integration with the countries of the continent.
He added during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola in Cairo Nelson Manuel Cosme that his organisation is ready to roll out its abilities and technical and technological expertise to help other African states.
Al-Atarass said he discussed with Ambassador Cosme means of enhancing cooperation between his organisation and the Republic of Angola.
The meeting also reviewed ways and means of exploiting the modern industrial abilities of the AOI in meeting the demands of development project in the Republic of Angola.
We agreed to exchange visits and open the door for participation in projects covering infrastructure, renewable energy, digitisation and electronic archiving projects, Chairman al-Tarass said.
He added that he also discussed with the Angolan ambassador the training of Angolan nationals in various fields at the factories of the AOI.
