CAIRO – Egyptian Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Moneim Al Terras has stressed that the corporation abides by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to support and localize technology of auto manufacturing under the latest systems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
Al Terras’s remarks came on Thursday during the signing of a co-operation protocol between the AOI and Abou Ghaly Motors in the presence of respective officials from both corporations.
Both sides agreed on assembling Geely vehicles at the production lines of the AOI’s Arab American Vehicles and train human cadres to support this process.
Al Terras’s said such co-operation aims to localize modern technology and local manufacturing by at least 45 percent to meet the current needs of local market as well as the future needs of Arab and African markets.
