The Arab Organisation for Dialogue (AOD) and the Travellers’ Association for Tourism and Travel (TATT) have signed a protocol to strengthen community co-operation and highlight Egypt’s cultural and tourism strengths.
The agreement supports the initiative, ‘Presenting a Positive Image of Egypt’, launched by the AOD with the aim of showcasing the country’s vibrant culture, tourist attractions, and societal achievements.
The partnership reflects the AOD’s commitment to promoting dialogue and cultural exchange, organisation Head, Hanan Youssef, said.

She added that the initiative fosters collaboration between the civil society and the tourism and media sectors to boost national pride and support development goals.
TATT Head, Atef Abdel Latif, described the protocol as a “key step” on the road to uniting efforts to enhance Egypt’s image.
He underscored the importance of the association’s role in supporting activities that highlight Egypt’s rich heritage and tourist destinations.

Both parties said the partnership aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and would help promote sustainable development by increasing public awareness and national identity.
Among the upcoming joint projects is the Saint Catherine’s Decade Festival, along with several cultural and tourism events.

The protocol was signed during an event titled, ‘Catherine in Cairo’, organised by Abdel Latif.
