CAIRO – Jordanian Ambassador to Egypt Amgad al- Aadiala said Jordan holds in high esteem President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s stance in support of Jordan and all challenges besetting it.
In an interview with Al-Gomhuria Newspaper of Sunday, al-Aadiala reiterated Jordan’s full support to Egypt in all efforts meant to protect Egypt’s water rights; being part of Arab national security, along with the Egyptian drive to work out a solution for the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), in conformity with international law.
Egypt water security is part and parcel of Arab water security, said the Jordanian diplomat.
He further accentuated the need for devising an Arab strategy to face up to Arab water security issues.
The Jordanian ambassador lauded Egyptian-Jordanian ties, referring to a tangible momentum leap distinguishing relations between the two countries.
