Egyptian Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted that more than 150 equipped ambulances were allocated to provide urgent medical services at Rafah crossing for those coming from the Gaza Strip to Egypt.
Abdel Ghaffar said that 35 ambulances are equipped with incubators to transfer the premature children from the enclave to 24 Egyptian hospitals for treatment.
He said that all the injured will receive healthcare with the latest treatment protocols.
This came during Abdel Ghaffar’s visit along with Palestinian Health Minister Mai al Kaila to North Sinai Governorate where they were received at Arish International Airport by Deputy Governor of North Sinai Hisham el Kholi.
Kholi said that both ministers will inspect Rafah port and will visit the Palestinian wounded in Arish hospital.
Kholi reviewed the efforts of the governorate in cooperation with the different bodies to receive the various aid supplies and deliver them to the enclave.
Meanwhile, Kaila thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for the efforts exerted towards Palestine and thanked Abdel Ghaffar for receiving the injured Palestinians in North Sinai.
