CAIRO – Algerian Justice Minister Abdul Rashid Tabbi said Monday the challenges the world is facing require harnessing all potentials to overcome them and deal with the Arab justice system.
The Algerian minister’s statement came during the inauguration of the 37th session of the Council of Arab Justice Ministers which kicked off on Monday at the Arab League premises under the chairmanship of Algeria.
He said the council had warned against such challenges, so, it prepared a number of agreements dealing with terror combat, corruption, transnational organised crimes, information technology, human organs transplant and preventing cloning.
The Council addressed means of combating organized crime and the phenomenon of terrorism that has spread in the whole world.
The meeting’s agenda includes unifying the Arab legislation, the Arab agreements on combating corruption, the Arab draft agreement on organising the refugees affairs status and the justice ministries efforts to curb the coronavirus.
