ALEXANDRIA – Alexandria Port saw a boom in cargo ship movement over the past 48 hours.
Forty-six vessels have arrived and left the harbor, the spokesman for Alexandria port authority said in a statement released on Tuesday.
The number of containers handled at the port reached 1,225.
Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority Tareq Shahin stressed the importance of taking all anti-coronavirus and safety measures at the port, the statement said.
