The Arab League (AL) on Tuesday thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his continued support to the joint social and humanitarian Arab action in order to meet main demands of Arab peoples.
The remarks were made by AL Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Haifa Abu Ghazaleh on the sidelines of dispatching a humanitarian and social assistance convoy for the Sudanese people, in collaboration with Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine el Kabbag and the Egyptian Red Crescent.
The convoy, which is sponsored by the Council of Arab Ministers for Social Affairs, falls within the framework of AL efforts to mitigate the repercussions of the humanitarian and social crisis in Sudan, according to statement issued by the AL.
