The emergency meeting of the Arab League (AL) Council kicked off on Sunday under Egypt’s chairmanship to address the situation in Sudan.
Earlier on Saturday, Egypt and Saudi Arabia called for holding an emergency meeting to discuss the latest developments in Sudan.
The meeting is chaired by Egypt’s permanent delegate Ambassador Mohamed Moustafa Arfi, as Egypt is the current chair of the AL’s council.
