Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit underlined on Tuesday that the high turnout in Egypt’s presidential election is a message to the world that Egypt and its people are determined on pursuing stability, development and progress.
The Arab League chief made the remarks on Tuesday after casting his vote in Rashid Primary School in Heliopolis polling station in Cairo governorate.
He hailed the high participation in the Egyptian presidential election which, he said, reached so far 45 per cent, a matter that reflected the loyalty of the people of the country to their leadership.
