CAIRO – Egypt’s Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali el Moselhi has announced that “Ahlan Ramadan” commodities fair will be held from March 24 to April 1 with the participation of 175 food industry companies.
Held under the auspices of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli at the Cairo International Convention Center, the event shall offer discounts ranging between 20% and 25%, the minister added during his meeting with heads of food industry companies, owners of wholesale markets chains, in addition to some suppliers and producers.
During the meeting, Moselhi said President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attaches special importance to Ahlan Ramadan fair, pointing out to presidential directives for expanding the fair’s venues and increasing discounts.
The fair is organized to provide different kinds of goods ahead of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan when consumption usually peaks.
