CAIRO – Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister El Sayyed El Quseir underlined the importance of the agriculture sector and its role in providing food security, jobs and sustainable development.
The political leadership gives unprecedented support to the agriculture sector, due to its crucial role, added the minister during a meeting he held to follow up on several files related to food security and animal wealth.
During the meeting, which was attended by a host of senior officials and the ministry’s leaderships, Quseir underlined the importance of providing training to the employees at the agriculture sector nationwide.
The minister, meanwhile, underlined the importance of increasing reliance on approved and enhanced seeds along with rationalizing water and fertilizers used in agriculture.
