CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk on Tuesday left for the German capital, Berlin, to attend “FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025” trade fair and meet with a number major international firms operating in the agricultural sector.The minister is set to hold meetings with his counterparts from countries participating in this year’s edition of the important trade fair as well as businessman and investors in the field of agricultural manufacturing and production.
Farouk, in statements before leaving Cairo, affirmed the importance of “FRUIT LOGISTICA”, which is deemed an important international event dedicated to the fresh produce business .He added that Egypt’s agricultural exports have recorded a remarkable increase to surpass 10.6 billion dollars, marking a rise of 17 percent compared with the previous year.
FRUIT LOGISTICA is one of the world’s most important trade shows for the fresh produce business opens and the biggest industry players that brings together trade visitors from all over the world to make productive connections. The trade fair covers the entire value chain – from producer to consumer, from point of seed to point of sale.In addition to its three main segments – Fresh Produce, Machinery & Technology, and Logistics – the trade fair’s key points of focus include future-oriented areas such as Smart Agri and Greenhouses.
