CAIRO – Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk on Sunday opened, on behalf of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, the 37th edition of the Sahara International Agricultural Exhibition.
While touring the exhibition halls, Farouk praised the organization and the participating companies, noting that the event remains the most prominent agricultural gathering in Egypt and the Middle East.
The exhibition is held under the patronage of the prime minister, the Ministry of Agriculture, and several other government bodies.
The exhibition, taking place from September 14 to 16 at Egypt International Exhibitions Center, features broad international participation and showcases new agricultural initiatives. More than 350 exhibitors are attending, representing over 450 brands from 10 countries, including Spain, Singapore, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, India, Greece, Italy, Poland, and Jordan.
The event also hosts international buyer delegations from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq, in addition to local buyers from across Egypt’s governorates.
