Egypt’s Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayyed el Quseir discussed Wednesday with a high-level delegation of Saudi businessmen and investors ways of boosting and scaling up Saudi agricultural investment in Egypt.
During the meeting, Quseir asserted Egyptian-Saudi relations are strategic on all fronts, in addition to brotherly bonds between the political leaderships in the two countries.
Qusier said investment in the agriculture sector is promising and the state is keen on setting the stage for local, Arab and foreign investors.
The state seeks to increase Saudi investments in Egypt, added the minister.
Quseir briefed the Saudi delegation on some potential chances for investment in agricultural development projects.
The Saudi investors commended Egyptian-Saudi relations and recent achievements made in Egypt and said they are looking forward to promoting investments in Egypt in the agricultural domain.
