CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouq Monday left for Romania to take part in the meetings of the Egyptian- Romanian high-level technical committee that will convene in Bucharest.
Egyptian Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania al Mashat will chair the meetings of the joint committee.
The agriculture minister is due to sign the blueprint of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Egypt and Romania on agricultural cooperation and relevant activities, including high-yield seed production, livestock production, joint research projects and plant health.
Farouq’s itinerary in Bucharest includes holding talks with Romanian agricultural officials on enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
