Egypt’s State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi has attended a signing ceremony of an agreement to establish a company to produce manufacturing components for converting vehicles to run on natural gas.

The deal was signed between the National Authority for Military Production, El Maasara Company for Engineering Industries and Italy’s Landi Renzo Group.

Italian Ambassador to Egypt Michele Quaroni and chairmen of the board of directors of Gastech, Natural Gas Vehicles Company and Electricity Holding Company attended the signing ceremony along with representatives of the Italian Trade Agency.

The pact came as per directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to promote national industry through coordination between the various ministries and the state institutions.
