Head of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation, Lieutenant General Abdel-Moneim El-Terras, stressed the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to strengthen co-operation and integration with African countries.
He also indicated that AOI puts all its technological expertise and potentials to meet development projects and train human resourcesin Africa.
Tarras statements came during a visit by the students of the African Co-operation Course for Decision Makers to the Nasser Military Academy.
Tarras said the visit by the African delegation was an opportunity to unveil the true image of the Egyptian industry potentials.
The guests watched a presentation on the history of the organization and its role in meeting the needs of Arab and African countries from the defense and civil industries, a statement by the organisation said.
It added that Tarras referred to the strategy of the AOI to train human resources, deepen local manufacturing, transfer and localise modern technology in partnership with major international companies in many areas of industry, including in the foremost defence industries, armoured vehicles, renewable energy, communications, electronics, tablets, digital transformation among others.
For their part, the students praised President Sisi’s efforts to boost co-operation and integration between African brothers.
They also expressed their admiration for the various products of the organisation and its manufacturing capabilities to develop technology in scientific methods in a way that would achieve the highest rates of local manufacturing.
