African ambassadors in Cairo were taken on a tour on Monday of Luxor Governorate to be briefed on Egypt’s achievements in healthcare services.
During the tour, organised by the Foreign Ministry’s Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) and in co-operation with the General Healthcare Authority, envoys were updated on the comprehensive health insurance programme and the presidential initiative ‘100 Million Healthy Lives’ and ‘Decent Life’.
The ambassadors, accompanied by EAPD Secretary General Mohamed Khalil, toured health facilities developed and upgraded for inclusion in the health insurance programme.
