CAIRO- Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit starts Monday a visit to Madrid to moderate the first session of Arab-Spanish forum organised by the Spanish Radio and Television Corporation in the presence of the corporation head José Manuel Pérez Tornero and Spanish Minister of Culture Miquel Iceta.
A source at the pan-Arab organisation described the forum as a good chance for exchanging expertise and building a bridge of co-operation as a large number of Arab Radio & TV organisations shall be taking part.
According to the sources, Abul Gheit is due to meet with King Felipe VI of Spain and Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares to discuss Arab-Spanish relations and regional issues.
