ABU DHABI – Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit called for doubling the Arab efforts to protect the gains of the joint Arab action and to face the serious repercussions of the world changing environment.
Abul Gheit’s remarks came in his word during the inauguration of 54th Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
He asserted the importance of responding to the demands of the current situation and improving the work of the committee.
He said that holding the latest Arab summit in Algeria was a positive indicator on restoring the flow of Arab action, adding that the summit discussed economic and social issues, topped by Arab food security.
Abul Gheit asserted the importance of joint Arab action organisations as they are responsible for implementing the Arab plans and projects.
