CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held its weekly meeting on Thursday to follow up on work progress in a number of files of the health ministry at the ministry’s headquarters in the government district in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting, held via video conferencing, came as part of utmost keenness on offering the best medical services to patients and to promote hygiene standards.
Participants tackled challenges facing the health system in the country.
During the meeting, Abdel Ghaffar ordered to lay down a health map for each governorate separately taking into account demographic, social and economic dimensions in order to offer medical services as per global criteria and ensure sustainability of upgrading the health system nationwide, said Spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
