Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, affirmed on Saturday the ministry’s commitment to rapidly enhancing healthcare infrastructure and expanding capacity, directing the swift completion of equipping the new building at Abbassia Chest Hospital in preparation for its official opening within the coming days.
This came during the minister’s inspection tour of the new facility in Cairo, where he praised the scale of the achievement and the quality of the architectural design.
The visit forms part of a series of field tours aimed at monitoring progress across the health system and assessing the quality of services.
