Egypt’s Local Development Minister Hisham Amna said the ministry has handled 98.3 percent out of total 2,646 complaints.
In a statement on Sunday, the minister said snap inspection committees have detected several violations and taken needed measures to address them.
The complaints came from several governorates, including Cairo, Qaliobiya, Kafr el Sheikh, Daqahliya, Sharqiya, Giza, Monofiya, Port Said, Menya, Luxor and others.
