Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency issued permits to eight Russian airlines to resume regular flights to Egypt’s resorts, MENA reported.
Starting August 9, Russia plans to resume flights with Egyptian resort cities of Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, after a six-year hiatus since the 2015 Russian plane crash in Sinai.
The Federal Air Transport Agency granted permission to Aeroflot, Pobeda, Rossiya, S7, Smartavia, Ural Airlines, Nordwind and Azur Air.
Precautionary measures, stipulated by the World Health Organization (WHO), to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, will be in place.
