CAIRO- More than 65,000 tax disputes have been settled away from the court, with a total value that surpass EGP 51.5 billion over seven years, said Finance Minister Mohamed Maait.
The move came in implementation of directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to swiftly settle tax disputes out of court, added the minister in statements Saturday.
A draft law has been prepared to settle all the accumulated tax files in a way that contributes to creating a suitable environment for business and encouraging investors to expand their activities in the Egyptian market, he further said.
